1. Verschiffung

Only ISO containers of size 20’, 40’ or 40’ HC are to be used for shipping. Any deviation must be approved in writing by Meditrade UK’s purchasing or logistics team prior to shipment.

2. Angabe beim Spediteur

The supplier must book the shipment with the forwarding agent at least four (4) weeks in advance. Failure to meet this deadline may result in the supplier being held liable for any resulting delays or additional costs incurred by Meditrade UK.

3. Qualitätskontrolle Container

The supplier is responsible for inspecting each container for suitability before loading. This inspection must be documented with photographs and included with the shipping documents. The supplier shall be fully liable for any product damage caused by unsuitable or defective containers.

4. Loading and Cargo Securing

The supplier is fully responsible for proper loading, cargo securing, and safe stowage of the goods. The following must be observed:

  • Compliance with all applicable weight limits and weight distribution rules.
  • Prevention of bulging, shifting, or transport damage through adequate securing devices.
  • Protection of goods against temperature, humidity, and poor ventilation.
  • For shipments between September and March, the top layer of goods must be covered to prevent condensation damage.
  • Goods from the same batch and with the same expiry date must be loaded together. Mixed orders must be clearly separated and approved in advance by Meditrade UK.
  • Goods must be loaded sequentially by article type and stacked so that labels are clearly visible for quick identification and quantity checking.

5. Containerdokumente

All documents must be received by Meditrade UK no later than 10 days after shipment. Required documents include:

  • Detailed Packing List
  • Commercial Invoice
  • Certificate of Origin
  • Certificate of Analysis
  • Bill of Lading
  • For sterile products: Certificate of Sterilization
  • Container inspection report with photographs

6. Capacity Notification

The supplier must immediately notify Meditrade UK if the ordered volume exceeds the container capacity. Such orders require written approval before shipment.

7. Annahmevorbehalt

All goods are accepted subject to full quantity and quality verification after unloading. Meditrade UK reserves the right to reject or claim for defects discovered later, even if a visual inspection was carried out on arrival.

8. Regulatorische Anforderungen

By accepting the order, the supplier confirms:

  1. All products are manufactured, packaged, labelled, stored, and shipped in accordance with applicable standards and specifications (or trade customs where no standard exists).
  2. Full traceability of each product and batch.

  3. All relevant documentation is retained for a minimum of 10 years from the date of shipment.
  4. The supplier maintains a certified Quality Management System according to ISO 13485.
  5. The supplier agrees to audits (including unannounced) by Meditrade UK, regulatory authorities, or Notified Bodies.
  6. Any changes to product design, manufacturing process, materials, production site, or subcontractors must be notified to Meditrade UK in writing in advance, including the affected lot/serial numbers.

9. Zusatzaufwand

Any deviation from these Delivery Terms may result in additional costs for Meditrade UK. Meditrade UK reserves the right to charge the supplier for any extra expenses incurred. Non-compliance with these terms may also lead to further claims against the supplier.

10. Gerichtsstand:

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these terms or related deliveries.

1. Anlieferungszeit/-adresse

a. Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 12:00 and 13:00 – 16:00

Deliveries outside these hours are only permitted with prior written approval from the Logistics team.

2. Lieferschein

All deliveries must be accompanied by a delivery note containing at least the following information:

  • Supplier name and full address
  • Versanddatum/ Lieferdatum
  • Total number of packages / pallets
  • Stückmenge je Liefereinheit
  • Meditrade UK Order Number, Article Number, Batch/Lot Number
  • Article and material description

3. Advance Notification

Every delivery must be notified by email to the Logistics team at least 3 working days in advance. The notification must include:

  • Scheduled date and time of delivery
  • Meditrade UK Order Number
  • Full details from the delivery note (see section 2)

4. Pallet & Loading Requirements

  • All goods must be delivered on Euro pallets (120 x 80 cm) or UK standard pallets.
  • Goods must be delivered single-variety (one article / one batch per pallet). Mixed pallets require prior written approval.

  • Secure pallets properly to prevent shifting or damage.

  • Labels must face outwards for easy identification.

5. On Arrival Procedure

  • The driver must register at the logistics office with the delivery note before unloading begins.
  • The truck will only be unloaded after registration.
  • Drivers must wear a high-visibility vest and safety shoes inside the warehouse.
  • Undamaged Euro pallets will be exchanged immediately after unloading.

6. Aufbau einer Palette:

All deliveries are accepted subject to full quantity and quality inspection. Meditrade UK reserves the right to reject goods or claim for defects discovered later (within 7 days of delivery).

7. Regulatory & Quality Requirements

By accepting the order, the supplier agrees to all quality, traceability, documentation, and audit requirements as detailed in the Container Delivery Terms (including ISO 13485, 10-year record retention, change notification, etc.).

8. Additional Costs

Any deviation from these instructions may result in additional charges, waiting time fees, or rejection of the delivery. Meditrade UK reserves the right to pass on all extra costs to the supplier.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
